Mount Hope Community Day a Hit!

Moove In Self Storage participated in Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Home’s Community Day on Saturday, May 17th, and we had a blast! The event started at 2pm and was held inside the retirement home for their residents, families and community members. We had a table set up for the kids to color our cow mascot in our coloring contest. All of our entries were colored by extremely talented girls!

At the end of the day we chose two winners:

  • Our first place winner was Gabriela (Age 10) who took the time not only to color her cow in, but the background, logo and more. She also gave our cow some pretty earrings.
  • Our second place winner was Kota (Age 7) with her brightly colored cow.

Both winners received a goody bag full of treats. Congratulations to our winners on a job well done!

There were fun events for the whole family. Barbara Basile from the Manheim Public Library was a hit, making paper robots and telling stories to the kids. There were also members of CHIP in attendance to provide ID packets to parents for their children. The kids had a lot of fun with the fingerprinting part of the packet. The Mount Hope Fire Company gave hands-on tours in their extra-long fire truck for the kids as well. Many other activities such as a blood pressure check-up station, door prizes given out to attendees and a blood drive went on all afternoon. What a great way to spend a Saturday in Mount Hope!
