MISS Expands Portfolio into Massachusetts

Local self storage company Moove In Self Storage (MISS) has expanded their portfolio into the Massachusetts market. They have acquired A to Z Storage, which is located in the towns of Easthampton, Northampton and Southampton, MA.

A to Z Storage includes five properties and added more than 930 storage units and an additional 124,000 SF of storage to the portfolio, which now stands at 33 locations throughout PA, MD, NJ, NY, CT and MA, and is managed by Investment Real Estate Management, LLC. The five properties are all located within a three-mile radius on Easthampton Road in Northampton, Industrial Parkway and Coleman Road in Easthampton, and College Highway in Southampton, and are run out of a rental office at 165 Northampton Street.

When asked about the acquisition, Brian Foran, Director of Operations for Moove In Self Storage, says, “I am excited to be expanding into a new market in the Northeast. This was a great opportunity for Moove In to begin serving customers in Massachusetts. We have many site improvements planned, which will only make this acquisition even better for our company, the local community and our new customers.”

A to Z Storage was built in 1986 through 2011 and consists of thirty-three total buildings with traditional drive-up access storage units. All five properties have been well maintained and perimeter fencing and electronic keypad gate access. New offices are planned for 550 Easthampton Road and 9 Coleman Road, as well as other capital improvements to the sites.
